Jazmyn Chavez is an accomplished communications student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Communications Intern at Pure Storage and as Club President for Journalists of Color @ Cal Poly since June 2024, Jazmyn also holds the position of KCPR News Reporter at KCPR FM Cal Poly Radio since January 2023. Previously, a Communications Assistant at Cal Poly Corporation from May 2023 to April 2024, Jazmyn has developed a strong foundation in media and communications. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Santa Clara High School and participation in the 49ers Stem Leadership Institute from 2016 to 2021.
