Emily Cardineau has worked in various roles in the field of marketing and communications over the past 12 years. In 2008, they began their career as a High School English Teacher at the NYC Department of Education. In 2011, they became an Editorial Assistant at The Victorian Review. In 2012, Emily took on multiple roles, including Founding Editor and Contributor at The Media Res, Website Content Manager at The Maker Lab, and Strategic Communications Manager at Rethink First. In 2016, they began working at Accelify, LLC as a Marketing Communications Manager and at Cake & Arrow as a Communication & Marketing Manager and Director of Content Marketing.

Emily Cardineau completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2006. Emily then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English and Digital Humanities from the University of Victoria, which they completed in 2012.
