Sarah Hasbrook is a seasoned educator with extensive experience as a Special Education Teacher, currently serving the Cairo-Durham Central School District since October 2015, utilizing the Orton-Gillingham approach to enhance reading skills for K-5 students. Prior roles include special education teaching at Chatham Central School District and Taconic Hills Central School District, where Sarah managed IEPs and implemented evidence-based practices. Additionally, Sarah operates as an author and illustrator, and owns Simplicity Photography. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Literacy Specialist and a Master of Science in Childhood Special Education, both from the State University of New York at New Paltz, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education.
