Alan McKay MAPM is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with extensive experience across various engineering and project management roles. Currently serving as Sales Director and Founder at Cairngorm Energy Ltd since April 2024, Alan is dedicated to revitalizing the skills that propelled Aberdeen Oil & Gas to industry leadership. Previous roles include Project Manager at Infinity Energy Engineering, Senior Project Engineer at Petrofac, and various positions at Costain Group PLC, where responsibilities ranged from Work Winning Engineering Lead to Key Account Manager. Alan’s career began as an Electrical Technician at Wood Group PSN, following an HND in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Jewel and Esk Valley College.
