Robert Ossig

Process & Manufacturing Technology at CAI

Robert Ossig has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Robert started their career in 2008 at Sanofi Pasteur, where they held various positions. As an Immunochemistry Lab Analyst, they performed antibody assays and reported results to support clinical studies. Robert also worked as a Quality Control Analyst, ensuring product integrity through testing and documentation. Additionally, they participated in the Influenza Project Team, providing feedback for process improvement during the retrofit of the production building.

In 2016, Robert joined CAI, where they have held multiple roles. As a Sr. Validation Scientist, they were responsible for protocol generation and execution in pharmaceutical facility expansion projects. Robert gained experience in manufacturing facility systems such as purified water systems and bio-processing systems. In their subsequent role as a Client Manager and Project Manager, they generated project proposals, managed budgets and staffing, and maintained project schedules. Currently, they hold the role of Process & Manufacturing Technology, where their responsibilities are not specified.

Robert Ossig obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Scranton, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Making a Cell Therapy: Principles and Practice of Manufacturing from edX in November 2021, a certification in Single Use Technologies from the PDA - Parenteral Drug Association in December 2019, a certification in Fred Kofman on Managing Conflict from LinkedIn in October 2016, and a certification in Biotech Process Validation from ISPE. Robert also holds a PA State Radioisotope Certification, and has completed training in Project Management from CAI. Achieving these qualifications demonstrates Robert Ossig's commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of microbiology, immunology, and biotech processes.
