Brian Martin

HVAC CQV Engineer at CAI

Brian Martin has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Brian started their career in 2007 as an HVAC Technician at Envotech Ltd, where they performed maintenance on AHUs and serviced air conditioning units. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at RPS Group as a Refrigeration Apprentice, Validation Engineer, and Assistant Site Manager, gaining experience in maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

In 2012, Brian joined Noonan Services Group, where they worked as a Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineer, Validation Engineer, and Assistant Site Manager. Their responsibilities included maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in medical devices, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, and service industries.

Brian then worked at Specific Heat Londom as a Refrigeration Engineer, focusing on maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment. In 2014, they joined Johnson Controls as a Chiller Engineer, performing services and maintenance on various chiller units.

Brian joined Bilfinger/Apleona in 2015 as a Utilities & Production Maintenance Technician, working in both process and utilities teams within a medical device environment. Brian carried out maintenance, fault identification, and resolution on various equipment.

In 2018, they transitioned to MSD as a Project Engineer, taking care of projects and complying with site standards through paperwork generation. Brian also handled Fgas requirements onsite.

From 2019 to 2021, Brian worked at GSK as a Utilities Supervisor, overseeing utilities, OTC utilities team, and projects on-site. Brian generated paperwork for utilities compliance with site standards.

In 2021, they joined CAI as an HVAC CQV Engineer, where they generated documentation for commission, qualification, and validation of HVAC equipment in cleanroom and warehousing environments.

Currently, Brian is employed at BriCon Contracting Ltd as a Senior Engineer, working as part of the Engineering team for a medical device company in Cork, Ireland. Brian is responsible for assisting on projects related to cleaning and passivation production equipment on-site and generating documentation for their commission, qualification, and validation.

Brian Martin attended CBS Mitchelstown from 2002 to 2007, however, it is not clear what degree or field of study they pursued during that time. Brian then enrolled at FAS Ireland from 2008 to 2012, where they completed a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship. In 2012, they pursued a Diploma in Project Management at Munster Technological University. From 2014 to 2018, Brian earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Munster Technological University. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Professional DOP Tester certification in DOP testing and Certification of Cleanrooms from DOP Solutions.
