Tom Shirley

Tom Shirley began their work experience in 1999 at Intermix, Inc as a Programmer, working with ActionScript, C#, and C++. Tom stayed in this role until 2002. From 2002 to 2006, they worked at Fox Interactive Media as a Programmer, where they programmed secure Flash Protection Shell and developed original Flash MX games.

Tom then moved to iWin in 2006 as a Programmer, specializing in ActionScript, C#, and C++, until 2007. Tom then joined Demand Media as a Programmer, continuing with ActionScript, C#, and C++ languages until 2008.

In 2008, Tom joined Digital Dog, Inc as a Programmer, focusing on ActionScript, and worked there until 2009. Tom subsequently worked at Future Ads, LLC from 2009 to 2011, still as a Programmer, utilizing ActionScript, C#, and C++ languages.

From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Bean Creative as a Programmer, focusing on ActionScript, C#, and C++.

Tom then joined Digital Domain 3.0 in 2013 as a Programmer, working with C++, Obj-C, Unity, C, FFmpeg, C#, and Java. Tom stayed at Digital Domain 3.0 until 2018. During their time there, they specialized in Ambisonic 3D audio programming and developed solutions for iOS, Android, GearVR, and Unity.

From 2018 to 2022, Tom Shirley worked at Sector 5 Digital as a Senior Programmer, where they programmed in C++, UE4, Unity, C#, Win32, webGL, HLSL, UWP, LL-HLS, NVENC, and webRTC. Tom had various responsibilities such as shader programming, UDP messaging, flight simulation, VR development, and developing remote control applications.

Most recently, in 2022, Tom joined Caffeine as a Programmer.
