Alvaro Pereira, CIIA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Since August 2016, Alvaro has served as Senior Executive at CAF - Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe, overseeing operations in the Caribbean and acting as Country Executive for Mexico. Concurrently, Alvaro has been a Professor of Political Economy at Universidad Católica de Salta since 2005. Previous roles include Director of Portfolio Analysis and Valuation at ANSES - Fondo de Garantía de Sustentabilidad and Senior Advisor to the Executive Director at The World Bank, representing Argentina and several neighboring countries. Alvaro holds multiple qualifications, including a Master in Finance and certifications in project management and investment analysis from prestigious institutions.
