Martin Brown has over 24 years of work experience, with their most recent position being as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Caeli Nova since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at Esterline Advanced Sensors ltd from January 2013 to April 2020. Martin also held various roles at Esterline Advanced Sensors, including Senior Manufacturing Engineer from January 2006 to December 2012, and Design Engineer (CAD Specialist) from January 2007 to June 2007. Before joining Esterline, Martin worked as an NPI Engineer at Seimens VDO Automotive from January 2003 to January 2005. Martin began their career at Southco in 1996, where they held the role of Manufacturing/NPI Engineer. At Southco, Martin was responsible for project and program management, administration of the SDRC I-DEAS system, and coordinating engineering change proposals. Martin played a key role in the successful transfer of global production and the implementation of replacement systems.

Martin Brown attended Malvern College from 1986 to 1991. Martin then enrolled at Oxford Brookes University from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) with merit in Mechanical Engineering. Martin continued their education at Oxford Brookes University from 1994 to 1996, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Technology Management.
