Steven T. Prichett

Senior Managing Director/executive Vice President/group Head - Technology Banking at Cadence Bank

Steven T. Prichett has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Steven T. began their career at JPMorgan Chase in 1985, where they held the role of Managing Director and Division Manager for over two decades. During their time at JPMorgan Chase, they built a strong reputation and expertise in the financial services sector.

In 2009, Prichett joined Alvarez and Marsal, a global professional services firm, as a Senior Advisor in the newly formed Financial Industry Advisory Services Group. Their role focused on providing consultative services for private equity firms and banks during the financial crisis. Prichett played a key role in conducting due diligence and offering turnaround advisory for multi-billion-dollar financial entities across the United States.

In 2010, Prichett took on two senior leadership positions at Cadence Bank and Cadence Bancorp, LLC (CBC). At Cadence Bank, they served as the Senior Managing Director, Executive Vice President, and Group Head of Technology Banking. Steven T. successfully launched the Technology Banking division in 2013, leading strategic expansion across the nation. Prichett played a vital role in fostering relationships with private equity sponsors, providing client advisory services, and securing debt capital for acquisitions and growth. Steven T. also developed expertise in enterprise value lending through an extensive network within the private equity and financial entity space.

Simultaneously, at CBC, Prichett held the position of Executive Vice President for Mergers & Acquisitions. In this role, they played a crucial part in raising $1 billion of capital commitments to acquire and turnaround underperforming banks. CBC went public in 2017 and has since emerged as a $50 billion regional bank.

Throughout their career, Prichett has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership and excellence in the financial industry.

Steven T. Prichett completed their education by attending The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance. Additionally, they pursued post-graduate studies through night school while working full-time at JPM. These studies were specifically aimed at fulfilling the supplemental accounting hours (24) required for CPA licensing.
