Mike Ames is an experienced educator and academic with a strong background in international relations and terrorism studies. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Cadbury Sixth Form College since January 2023, Ames previously held similar positions at Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College and NIC College Tokyo. Additional roles include Associate Manager for employer engagement at The Challenge and Sessional Lecturer in International Relations at ONCAMPUS Global. Ames has also contributed as a co-editor and board member for the Central Eurasian Scholars & Media Initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations focused on terrorism and political violence from The University of Birmingham, a Diploma in Education and Training from the University of Worcester, and a Bachelor of Arts in War Studies and History from The University of Wolverhampton.
