Martin Lagler

Martin Lagler has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 1999 as a Rooms Division Intern at Hyatt Regency Chicago. Martin then went on to hold positions such as F&B Cost Controller, Payroll Manager, Chief Accountant, and Assistant Controller at the same hotel. In 2003, Lagler became the Regional Cost Controller for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as the Director of Accounting at Marshall Associates Inc., where they successfully managed three separate accounting departments and restructured the finance department for Vendor Development Group Inc. Lagler joined T-Systems North America in 2007, initially working as the General Accounting Manager and later taking on positions such as Head of Accounting & Travel and Head of Finance. Their achievements during this time include establishing a cross-functional team to reduce costs, opening a shared service center, and implementing workflow processes for Purchase to Pay. Lagler then moved on to CacheFly in 2019, taking on the roles of Controller and Chief Financial Officer. In 2022, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Deft, continuing their career in finance leadership roles.

Martin Lagler's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Western Governors University, a period that lasted until 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a BA in Hospitality Management at Hotelfachschule Zürich from 1995 to 1996.
