Toivo Kodas is an Executive Director at Cabot Corporation, specializing in new business development for Energy/Battery and Performance Materials. Toivo has a strong background in particle technology, leading projects involving aerosol manufacturing technology, lithium-ion batteries, printed electronics, and more. Toivo also has experience in engineered materials and establishing external innovation strategies. Prior to Cabot Corporation, Toivo served as the R&D Director and Co-Founder of Superior Micropowders, focusing on aerosol and droplet spray processing. Toivo holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Aerosol Science and Engineering from UCLA, where Toivo was advised by Sheldon Friedlander.
