Nancy Norton has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to HRIS, IT technical support, and HR systems. Nancy started their career at The Gillette Company in 1991, where they served as a Secretary, Customer Service Representative, Training Assistant, Compensation & Benefits Assistant, and Workstation Services Analyst. In their time at Gillette, they provided assistance and technical support during PeopleSoft software installations and upgrades.
In 1999, Nancy joined Cabot Corporation as a Sr. Global HRMIS Analyst in the HR Shared Service Center. Nancy'sresponsibilities included troubleshooting system problems, serving as the first point of contact for the global user community, and working closely with the IT technical team for resolution. Nancy was also a key member of the project team for testing and implementing multiple PeopleSoft upgrades.
In 2016, Nancy transitioned to the role of DevOps Engineer/Applications Specialist at Cabot Corporation. In this role, they provided IT technical support for HR systems such as PeopleSoft, UltiPro payroll, and iCIMS applicant tracking system. Nancy was responsible for troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes or enhancements following established testing and change control procedures.
Currently, Nancy holds the position of HRIS Lead at Cabot Corporation. In this role, they oversee HRIS projects, collaborates with subject matter experts and IT to solve complex problems, and provides general supervision and mentorship to junior HR analysts. Nancy also provides support to the PeopleSoft global end-user community, including data corrections, report writing, testing, training, maintenance, and documentation.
Nancy Norton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Northeastern University. Nancy completed their studies in 1997.
