Stefanie Blank began their work experience in 2012 as an intern at greeen! architects. Stefanie then completed internships at Pier7 Architekten BDA, BRUNO BRAUN ARCHITEKTEN. BDA, and Architekten Fischer und Fischer BDA in 2013. In 2015, they interned at BCMF Arquitetos Brasil and later joined the company as an Internship Architecture. From 2016 to 2019, Stefanie worked as a freelancer stage/production designer in cinema and also did projects for German TV and Westdeutscher Rundfunk. In 2019, they joined ACMS Architekten GmbH as an M.A. Architecture. That same year, they became a founding member of Architects4Future and served as an International Coordinator. Stefanie currently works at CAALA, starting in 2022, as the Head of CAALA Academy, focusing on making Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) accessible and user-friendly while providing professional services to address complex questions on CO2 and Decarbonization.
Stefanie Blank completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and Interior Architecture from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2012. Stefanie then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2018. During their master's studies, they also attended Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in the year 2016 to 2017 for a study abroad program. Stefanie has also received additional certifications throughout their education, including being nominated for the MASTERPREIS 2019 by Stiftung für Kunst und Baukultur Britta und Ulrich Findeisen in April 2019, receiving the PROMOS scholarship from DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst in August 2015, and being an Erasmus scholar in 2016/17 from the European Commission.
