Alexandra McElwain is a Senior Associate in the Office of the Chief Investment Officer at CPP Investments, where responsibilities include private equity asset allocation, asset class research, and portfolio monitoring and management. Since joining CPP Investments in July 2017, Alexandra has held various roles, including Associate and Analyst within Total Fund Management, focusing on active investment management. Prior experience includes serving as a Lecturer's Assistant at Ivey Business School and completing an internship in Total Portfolio Management at CPP Investment Board, where Alexandra contributed to investment research and portfolio construction. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Business Administration from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Specialization in Global Economics from Western University, along with education from Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne.
