Ken Syers is a seasoned Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist currently employed at C2AE since November 2021. With a diverse background in GIS and data management, Ken has held significant positions, including Deliverables Manager at Tunnel Vision Pipeline Services and Data Collection Manager at Roadview. Ken's expertise includes advanced data collection techniques utilizing GPS and LiDAR technologies, project management, and developing roadway inventory systems. With a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, along with multiple undergraduate degrees in Geography and Environmental Studies from Western Michigan University, Ken also has extensive experience in cartography, emergency mapping systems, and customer service. Prior roles also include positions at St. Joseph County as GIS Director and Cartographer/GIS Analyst, enhancing practical skills within local government and research environments.
