Joel Sykes is a seasoned professional in business development and investment management, currently serving as Business Development Asia for C-Quest Capital since March 2021. Sykes holds advisory roles at ONE54 HOLDINGS LTD and serves as a partner at Macritchie Resources, both positions held since February 2020 and February 2010, respectively. As a co-founder and advisor of Nextenders, which focuses on next generation procurement, Sykes has also been involved since May 2000. Previous experience includes director roles at Savitar Exploration Limited, managing director at Framework Capital Solutions, and managing director and portfolio manager at Black River Asset Management from 2004 to 2008. Sykes began a career in finance with Lehman Brothers in the Asia special situations group from 2001 to 2004. Sykes holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from King's College London, awarded in 1991.
