Deep Datta currently works at C-Quest Capital as a Nature Based Solutions specialist, focusing on regenerative agriculture and afforestation projects. Previous roles include serving as Technical Head at Calculus Carbon and Senior Manager at Medius Earth. At UPL, Deep Datta held the position of Technical Manager, contributing to the AWD/DSR rice carbon credits program, which was the first in India to forward sell carbon credits from agriculture. As a Programme Officer at WWF-India, responsibilities included managing various activities from tiger surveys to implementing climate-resilient agricultural programs for vulnerable tribal groups. Deep Datta began a career with a management internship at UNDP. Educational qualifications include a Master of Technology in Geological and Earth Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a PGDFM in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, and a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the Central University of Karnataka.
