Cathal Brennan is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and lending. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Manager at C. Hoare & Co. since December 2019, Cathal previously held the positions of Head of Specialist Lending Credit and Credit Partner at Metro Bank (UK) from August 2014 to June 2019, where responsibilities included approving commercial credit applications and developing Credit Policy. Prior to that, Cathal worked as a Credit Manager at Bank of Ireland from January 2007 to March 2014, managing a personal lending discretion of £7.5 million. Cathal began their career as a Client Manager at Enterprise Finance Europe from January 2002 to January 2007, overseeing a diverse client portfolio across various industries. Cathal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing & Management from University College Cork, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
