Jess Gillies worked as a Business Development Specialist at C-A-L Ranch Stores starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Cargill where they held two roles. From February 2015 to December 2021, they worked as a Retail Account Representative, and from December 2013 to March 2015, they served as a Consumer Specialist.

From 2007 to 2010, Jess Gillies attended Snow College and attained an Associate's degree in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training.
