Espen Mikkelsen has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, currently serving as a Spesialkonsulent Velferdsteknologi and Project Leader for the VIS project at Bydel Gamle Oslo since February 2015, alongside a role as a nurse. Previous positions include Chair of the board at Sameiet Bogstadveien 53 from 2012 to 2018, a temporary role at Kopiutsalget Akademika Blindern, and nursing at Brummundal bo- og aktivitetssenter from 2009 to 2014. Espen Mikkelsen was active in the Erasmus Student Network from 2011 to 2013, holding the titles of Section President and Section Event Organizer. Educational qualifications include a Master in Law from the University of Oslo, further education in welfare technology and clinical guidance from OsloMet, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Oslo and Akershus University College. Additionally, a master's level degree in digitalization, innovation, and management in health care was obtained from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
