Gerard Payet is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on piping and layout design, currently serving as the Lead Piping & Layout Engineer for FPSO Life Extension Projects at BW Offshore since November 2012. Prior to this role, Gerard has worked in various capacities, including Senior Piping Engineer at Citec Norway, involved in the design of regasification skids and topside modules. Gerard has also held positions at Aker Solutions in systems and interface engineering, as well as consulting roles in the cruise ship industry. Earlier experience includes significant contributions to FSRU conversion projects at Golar LNG and Moss Maritime. Gerard holds a degree from the University of South-Eastern Norway, completed between 1993 and 1996.
