Chris Levang is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in packaging automation and project-based engineering. Currently at BW Flexible Systems since January 2015, Chris focuses on continuous improvement and new design for semi-custom packaging equipment while collaborating with fabrication and assembly teams to enhance manufacturing processes. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Project Engineer at PaR Systems, where Chris managed project engineering from concept through installation, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Applied Engineering, Inc. Additionally, Chris gained valuable experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Bobcat Company, contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives and quality control. Early career development occurred as a Machine Operator at Midwest Screw Products, offering foundational skills in CNC operations and part inspection. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
