Yunwei Qiu is a technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. As a Co-Founder of Buysmart.ai since October 2023, Yunwei leads the engineering team in the development of an AI-powered e-commerce shopping assistant for the US market, while also overseeing advertising growth and product iterations. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at News Break, Yunwei built an in-house ad server capable of handling 10,000 queries per second, contributing significantly to revenue generation. At Hulu, contributions included leading the design of a major ad exchange project integrated with Disney, enhancing ad business performance. Earlier roles at IBM and Amazon involved identity governance solutions and developing payment processing systems, respectively. Yunwei holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University of Technology.
