Luis Lara is an experienced investor and business development leader with a focus on the restaurant and entertainment industries. Currently serving as an Investor and Partner at EMERGING since August 2016, Luis optimizes restaurant concepts for sustainable growth and profitability within the EMERGING Fund. Additionally, as SVP of Business Development at Buyers Edge Platform since May 2021, Luis leads initiatives for the multi-unit restaurant division. With a background in various roles at Consolidated Concepts, including SVP and VP of Business Development, Luis has significantly contributed to cost reduction solutions for multi-unit restaurants. Previous experience includes roles at Belly, CareerBuilder.com, and BMO Harris Bank, enhancing expertise in market expansion, relationship management, and financial analysis. Luis holds a B.S. in International Business and Finance from Elmhurst University.
