Ersel Gökmen has worked in various roles in the past five years. In 2014, they started as a Sales Internship at Unilever. In 2015, they worked as a Sales Management Trainee at RB, and also co-founded and became the CEO of Buy Buddy. At Buy Buddy, they have been working on revolutionizing retail through the invention of the Hitag Payment Device.

Ersel Gökmen attended Ted Istanbul Lisesi from 2006 to 2011, Sabanci University from 2011 to 2015, and Queen's University in 2015. Ersel studied Business and Administration at Sabanci University.
