Chinanuekpele Okoli is a dedicated journalism student at Boston University and an accomplished freelance journalist, currently reporting on underserved communities for Cambridge Day. Experience includes roles as Co-Programming Director at WTBU, where story schedules are created and station events are organized, and as a Features Writer for The Daily Free Press, conducting interviews and writing in-depth stories. Okoli has also contributed to broadcasting as a Correspondent and Editor at WTBU News, a Reporter for BUTV10, and a Volunteer for Randolph Community Television. Recent internships with GBH and participation as a Fellow in the Society of Professional Journalists further highlight commitment to community engagement and professional growth in journalism. Additionally, Chinanuekpele has served as a Team Leader and Tutor with Jumpstart, demonstrating a passion for early childhood education. Expected graduation from Boston University is in June 2025.
