Cara Bell began their career in 2019 as a Business Development & Product Manager for the Déjà Vu App at Inporium. In 2020, they worked as a Junior Ruby Engineer and Trainee Ruby Engineer at Smart Pension, a Freelance Web Developer & Director at Lagan Digital, a Lead Teacher and Teaching Assistant at Le Wagon, and is currently working as a Software Engineer at Butternut Box. At Le Wagon, they taught core concepts and helped students solve code challenges, teaching Object-Oriented Programming, Ruby, Rails, relational databases, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. At Lagan Digital, they offered digital product services. At Butternut Box, they work on freshly prepared dog food cooked like you would at home, delivered in perfect portions.

Cara Bell attended Victoria College Belfast from 2005 to 2012. Cara then went on to Newcastle University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a 2:1 in Law LLB (Hons). In 2020, they completed a Computer Programming course at Le Wagon.
