Alex Collins is a conservation finance consultant at Tellus Conservation, focusing on securing blended finance for projects in Bombo Lumene, DRC, and establishing the country's first nature-based solutions investment forum. Previous experiences include on-the-ground conservation support in Panama with Adoptabosque, an internship at Oxygen Conservation developing monitoring and restoration plans, and a role as a conservation associate with The Wildlife Trusts that involved securing over £5 million in potential funding. Alex has also contributed to various wildlife conservation projects and media productions, including creating training videos for RSPB and conducting biodiversity surveys in the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve. Academic qualifications encompass a PGCert in Landscape Conservation from Yale, an MSc in Biodiversity from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Bristol.
