David Yang is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Butter Technologies since October 2022. Prior to this role, David worked at Bloomberg LP from June 2011 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 20 as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager, developing a machine learning platform and tools for financial data extraction. In earlier positions at Bloomberg, David contributed as a Machine Learning Engineer by building deep learning solutions for natural language processing and as a Financial Software Engineer focused on creating applications and analysis engines for mortgage structured products. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Columbia University, earned in 2011.
