Eric Regina has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Butlr since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Volunteer Mentor at Ada Developers Academy starting in October 2022.

Eric also has extensive experience at Amazon, where they held various roles. Eric was a Senior Software Development Engineer from April 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they worked as a Software Development Engineer in 2021 and as a Data Scientist II from February 2021 to October 2021. Additionally, they served as a Robotics Software Engineer from September 2019 to February 2021, focusing on enterprise-scale deep learning automation for fulfillment center robots. Eric also worked as a Software Development Engineer in the AR/VR division from February 2019 to September 2019, working on Alternate Reality applications using JavaScript and C/C++. Eric started their journey at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer - Robotics in September 2017, where they mainly worked on Linux-based camera and GPS drivers, supervisory control software, and discrete event systems.

Prior to their experience at Amazon, Eric worked as an R&D Computer Engineer at Johnson & Johnson from June 2016 to September 2017, developing industrial-grade software with a focus on mathematical methods, computer vision, and machine learning.

Eric also worked as a Computer Vision Research Assistant at the University of North Florida from August 2014 to September 2017, collaborating on building an interactive American Sign Language tutoring system using OpenCV and C++.

Eric's early career includes roles as an Analytics Developer and Administrator at Beeline from August 2015 to May 2016, where they developed and maintained applications, SQL Server databases, and explored machine learning technologies. Eric previously worked as a Data Analytics Development Intern at Beeline from May 2013 to August 2015, employing machine learning and statistical analysis techniques.

Before entering the tech industry, Eric worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center, teaching mathematics to K-12 students, and as a Mathematics Tutor at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where they taught mathematics up to the level of Calculus 3 and assisted students with Microsoft Word, Excel functions, and C/C++ programming.

Eric Regina attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Eric then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida from 2012 to 2014, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.
