Renata George serves as Program Director at VC Academy since February 2017 and holds the position of Diversity In Venture Capital at PEI - Alternative Insight since January 2021, focusing on increasing diversity within the venture capital sector. As an investor for multiple startups including Handl, Butlr, Spenny, BuildStream, Sable, and Coursalytics, Renata is involved in innovative AI and digital banking solutions, as well as marketplace development. Additionally, Renata acts as a strategic advisor for awarenow and an angel investor at AngelList. Renata's educational background includes an MBA in Venture Investments from the University of California, Berkeley, a master's degree from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, a bachelor's degree in Government Relations, and a BBA in Finance Management from Kursk State Medical University.
