Marie Ee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marie started their career as an intern at Lexicon Publishing Pte Ltd in 2012, where they wrote feature articles and edited content for magazines. Marie then worked as a Public Relations Director and Media Campaign Manager at One Job Per Child, where they developed the organization's website and social media presence. Marie also had a role as an intern at The Learning Lab in 2013, gaining experience in education. In 2015, they worked as a Research Intern at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, where they wrote political research papers and composed reports. Marie held the position of Co-Teacher at Experimental College, Tufts University in 2016. Marie then worked as a Freelance Writer at Bolt (Bolt Media Pte Ltd) and Northern Light Productions in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Marie joined ButcherBox in 2017, first as a Copywriter and later as a UX/Product Copywriter. Finally, Marie served as the Chief Writer at UNSAID (Singapore), contributing to the organization's mission of transforming untold narratives into art.

Marie Ee attended Tufts University from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Marie'sfield of study was Middle Eastern Studies and English Literature. In 2016, they participated in an Intensive Arabic Language Program at the University of Jordan. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2011, they studied at Anglo-Chinese Junior College and obtained a GCE 'A' Levels degree. Additionally, Marie Ee has obtained several certifications including the Professional Scrum Master I and Professional Scrum Product Owner I certifications from Scrum.org in September 2021, as well as the Product Leader Certificate from Product School in March 2021.
