Katie Friedman currently serves as the Interim Head of Brand and Chief Subscriptions Officer at Business Insider, beginning in February 2023. Prior to this role, Katie held multiple leadership positions at The New York Times from December 2017 to January 2023, including General Manager & Executive Director of Subscription Growth, where oversight was provided for a team of over 75 individuals to drive the growth of the NYT Cooking product. Additional experience includes various roles in subscription growth strategy at The New York Times, financial analysis at American Express, auditing at PwC, and export coordination at Mediterranean Shipping Company SA. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a BA in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
