Emily Johnson has held various roles in the hospitality and marketing industries since 2006. Emily began their career as a Server at Old Chicago Restaurants in 2006, before transitioning to a Server/Lead Bartender at D'Amico and Partners in 2010. In 2014, they gained experience in event planning and marketing as an Intern at Greater Twin Cities United Way. In 2017, they began their role as Front of House Supervisor & Host at Campiello Eden Prairie. At the same time, they started their role as Account Executive at Business Impact Group, where they were promoted to Senior Account Manager in 2019. In this role, they collaborate with key departments to identify and implement solutions to achieve each client's goals, leads a team of 5 Account Managers, provides efficient solutions and oversees their book of business, and is responsible for training new Account Managers on all processes. Additionally, in their role as Account Manager, they create and builds trusted relationships with clients and provides operational support, successfully manages a $2+ million-dollar book of business including multiple high-profile clients, and conducts reporting, billing and invoicing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Emily Johnson attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2008 to 2010 and then transferred to Metro State University where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Project Management in 2013.
