Elisa Magalhaes is a skilled professional with extensive experience in human rights, advocacy, and sustainability. Currently serving as Manager of Human Rights and Consumer Sectors at BSR since March 2020, Elisa supports over 30 companies in addressing sustainability issues. Prior roles include International Advocacy Officer at IPPF/WHR, where advocacy projects focused on policy changes in human rights and gender equality across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, and Advocacy Coordinator at IPPF, managing contraceptive supply chain initiatives. Earlier experiences include work as a Performance Analyst at Dow Jones and internships in social media and news production. Elisa holds a Master's degree in Gender, Society and Representation from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Women's Studies from Tufts University.
