Maija Palomäki has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maija is currently the Head of Marketing for Invest in Finland at Business Finland starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Specialist in International Marketing & PR at Business Finland from March 2020 to January 2021. Maija also has experience as a Marketing & Communications Manager at Fixcel Group from December 2018 to October 2019, a Marketing Officer at Folk Finland Oy from February 2017 to December 2018, and a Project Coordinator/Freelancer at Sanoma Media Finland from February 2016 to January 2017. Maija has also held roles as a Marketing Assistant/Freelancer at Stella from April 2016 to September 2016, a Marketing Planner at Kärkimedia Oy from May 2014 to December 2015, a Marketing Assistant at Kärkimedia Oy from April 2012 to April 2014, and a Junior Account Manager at Skandaali from April 2011 to March 2012.

Maija Palomäki completed a course in Graphic Design at Helsinki Design School in 2016. Maija then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising & Communication at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. As part of their education, Maija was an exchange student at EDC Paris Business School, specializing in Marketing and International Business. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Marketing Strategy from Cannes Lions School.
