Lotta Hanski

Lotta Hanski has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Lotta started their career in 2005 at Track & Field Finland Oy, where they held the position of Account Manager, responsible for managing partner accounts and marketing communications. In 2008, they became the Advertising Manager at Maan Auto Oy / Peugeot Finland, overseeing advertising campaigns and coordinating PR events. From 2010 to 2012, Lotta worked as a Communications Officer for Finland at Shanghai Expo 2010, handling press releases, website management, and organizing media events. In 2012, they joined Suomen Terveystalo Oy as a Service Development & Marketing Manager, where they focused on developing and promoting services for athletes. Lotta later served as the Executive Vice President and board member of JCI Finland in 2014, responsible for international affairs and social responsibility. In 2014, they also worked as the CEO of Geocollectors Oy, a start-up company offering virtual travel experiences. From 2016 to 2019, Lotta was the Event Manager for Running Events at Suomen Urheiluliitto - Finnish Athletics, organizing major running events in Finland. Lotta then joined Business Finland in 2019, working as the Marketing Communications Manager and eventually becoming the Head of Marketing for Global Events, Film in Finland/AV incentive. Their responsibilities included marketing audiovisual incentives, managing marketing and communications for Finland's brand at major events worldwide. Currently, Lotta holds the position of Head of Marketing: Expo 2025 Osaka at Business Finland.

Lotta Hanski has a diverse education history. Lotta obtained a Master's degree in Sport and Health from the University of Jyväskylä, specializing in sport management, intercultural communication (dept. of Communic.), and European studies (open Univ.) from 1999 to 2004. Lotta also attended the Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln as an exchange student from 2000 to 2002, focusing on sport management and European studies. In addition, they completed a Bachelor's degree in International Business from the Helsinki School of Business in 1999 and a high school diploma from the Sports High School of Kuortane/Kuortaneen Urheilulukio from 1995 to 1998. Lotta further augmented their education by studying Mandarin Chinese at Mandarin Chinese Language Schools from 2009 to 2011. Lotta also pursued web communication studies at the University of Helsinki, Open University from 2010 to 2012 and completed basic-level studies in communication at the University of Helsinki in 2009-2010. Lotta has acquired additional certifications, including being trained in sustainable production by Audiovisual Producers Finland in 2022 and obtaining a certification in GRI Reporting (institution not provided).
