Director Of Global Program Strategy And Volunteer Engagement at Bpeace (Business Council for Peace)

Isabelle Strauss has a diverse and extensive work experience in various international organizations. Isabelle is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at Bpeace (Business Council for Peace), where they lead a team of business consulting volunteers to support business leaders in conflict-affected communities. Prior to this, they held roles of International Program Director and International Program Manager at Bpeace.

Before joining Bpeace, Isabelle worked at Chemonics International as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing USAID-funded projects in Tunisia and Jordan. Isabelle was also involved in proposal efforts for international development projects. Isabelle started their career at Chemonics as an Economic Growth and Trade Practice Associate, contributing to the project management and new business development efforts.

Isabelle also has experience in entrepreneurship, as they co-founded Colores Connection, a company they worked with for a year. Isabelle has also worked as a Small Business Growth Consultant at Thunderbird for Good, mentoring entrepreneurs in Peru participating in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women program.

During their time as an MBA student at Thunderbird, Isabelle worked as a consultant for ExxonMobil Foundation and Small Solutions Energy Enterprise Development (SEED) in Uganda, as well as for Terra Vertis, a green building consultancy provider in Jordan. Isabelle evaluated their operations and developed growth strategies for them.

Earlier in their career, Isabelle worked as a Market Research & Marketing Consultant at Colliers International in Albania, where they played a key role in the establishment of the company in the country. Isabelle also worked as an Advisor to the CEO at AlbInvest, an investment company. Their first job was as a Marketing and Administrative Assistant at Care Rehab and Orthopaedic Products, Inc.

Overall, Isabelle Strauss brings a wealth of experience in program management, business consulting, international development, entrepreneurship, and market research to their role as the Chief Program Officer at Bpeace.

Isabelle Strauss pursued their education at Georgetown University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Isabelle later enrolled at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2009 to 2011, where they graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with honors.
