Matthew Giambusso is a Senior Research Scientist at Busek, previously holding the same position at Ad Astra Rocket Company. Matthew has extensive experience in developing VASIMR technology and operating plasma thruster prototypes. Matthew also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston and as an Automotive Technician at Midtown Auto Repair. In addition, Matthew served as an Operations Planner in the US Navy and as a Submarine Officer on the USS Hartford. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, as well as two Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Physics from the University of Houston.
