Brad Birrell has extensive experience in health, safety, and human resources across various industries, particularly within the mining and civil construction sectors. Currently serving as General Manager and HSE and HR Manager at Buru Rehab since February 2023, Brad oversees human resources and health and safety initiatives for mine rehabilitation and crushing operations. Previous roles include HSE Lead for Western Australia and Northern Territory at KAEFER Integrated Services, HSEQ Manager at Centrals Earthmoving, and various positions at Piacentini & Son, where responsibilities expanded from Health, Safety and Environment Manager to Human Resource Manager. Earlier career stages included roles as OHS Advisor and Rehabilitation Consultant. Brad holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia and an Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety from SR International.
