John Kocur has over 19 years of work experience in the field of data analysis. John began their career in 2001 as a Business Analyst at Synygy. In 2004, they moved to Aon as a Business Analyst, where they configured sales performance reports and analyses to monitor all segments of the business. In 2006, they founded Kocur Business Solutions, a business that helps small to mid-size businesses thrive by way of data analysis. In 2007, they joined International SOS as a Sales Analysis Manager, where they spearheaded a data warehouse project to build a centralized data repository. John then moved to Senior Business Analyst - TRICARE, where they trained over 150 US military users globally via webinars on data mining, extraction and analysis. John was then promoted to Sales Planning Analyst, where they developed sales incentive and bonus plans. In 2019, they joined W Atlee Burpee as a Retail Account Analyst and CareerFoundry as a Data Analysis Course Mentor.

John Kocur began their educational career at West Mifflin High School, graduating in 1996. John then attended Penn State University, where they earned a BS in Finance in 2000 and a Minor in Information Systems and Statistical Analysis in the same year. In 2013, John obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and in 2015 they completed the Leadership Excellence Course and Executive Coaching from Academy Leadership.
