Jimmie Nettles serves as the Associate Worship Leader at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church since May 2021, primarily leading the Classic Worship Service alongside other services. Jimmie has been self-employed at Nettles Studio since October 2019, providing freelance worship leadership, singing, and recording engineering. Previous roles include Associate Consultant at Dwight Whitworth Consultants, Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at Picketts Mill Baptist Church, and Interim Worship Pastor at Turning Point at Mabel White and Palmetto Baptist Church. Jimmie's extensive experience also includes serving as Minister of Music and Worship at First Baptist Church Smyrna and Minister of Music at First Baptist Church Albany. Educational background includes a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Vocal Performance study at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with post-graduate study in Vocal Study and Opera Workshop at LSU.
