Leslie Carbajal, J.D., currently serves as a Staff Attorney at Burns Charest LLP since September 2022 and previously practiced as an Attorney at Carbajal Law, LLC, focusing on estate planning and tax issues. With experience as a Document Reviewer and e-Discovery Attorney at Shuart & Associates, Leslie has also contributed as an intern at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals under Judge Fredericka Wicker, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana under Judge Jay Zainey. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington College of Law, and a Doctor of Law degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, complemented by additional degrees in Political Science and Paralegal Studies.
