Chris Cormier is a partner at Burns Charest LLP in Washington, DC, where a strong track record includes successfully litigating complex, high-stakes cases that have resulted in over $2 billion in verdicts and settlements. Prior experience includes serving as a partner at Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC from June 2003 to September 2018, as well as legal and judicial intern roles at the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in 2001 and 2000, respectively. Chris Cormier holds a JD, magna cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Government from the University of Virginia. Education was completed at Bishop Ireton High School.
