Aaron Pena, Ed.D, currently serves as the Superintendent of Burnet Consolidated Independent School District since March 2024, focusing on creating a thriving environment for students under the guiding principles of Spirit, Pride, and Honor. Prior to this role, Aaron Pena held various positions at Midway Independent School District from July 2011 to March 2024, including Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, and Principal. Aaron Pena's career in education began at Waco Independent School District, where responsibilities included serving as Principal from July 2004 to June 2010. Aaron Pena holds a Doctor of Education degree in Education Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Baylor University.
