Sean Hegarty is an experienced power industry professional currently serving as a Power Plant Consultant at Powergen Consultancy Services NI Ltd since January 2024. Hegarty has held the position of Plant Manager at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor, BWSC since November 2014. Prior to this, Hegarty was Operations Manager at Steam & Generation Services (NI) Ltd from July 2011 to October 2014, responsible for overseeing operations in the power sector. Hegarty's career also includes roles as Director at Steam & Generation Services Ltd and Forth & Foyle N.I. Ltd, as well as experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Coolkeeragh Power Station and a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Northern Ireland Electricity.
