Kevin Tryon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the retail industry. Kevin began their career in 1991 as a Business Operations Manager at Cub Foods, where they worked until 1999. Kevin then joined SUPERVALU as a Market Analyst from 1999 to 2001. Kevin then moved to Save-A-Lot, where they held the position of Manager and later Director of Market Analysis from 2001 to 2007. Kevin returned to SUPERVALU and served as the Director of Competitive Intelligence from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as the Director of Real Estate Market Analysis at SUPERVALU. Following this, Kevin joined Southeastern Grocers as the Director of Market Planning & Real Estate Development, where they developed real estate strategies and managed the development pipeline for over 800 stores. Currently, Kevin is employed at Burlington Stores, Inc. as the Sr. Director, Real Estate Strategy since 2015, and subsequently promoted to the Vice President, Real Estate Strategy in April 2018.
Kevin Tryon has a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Iowa State University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1990. Kevin also has an MBA in Business Finance and Strategy from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, which they completed from 2004 to 2005. In addition, they took a course in Strategic Management and Planning in Retail at Babson College - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business in 2002.
