Jeffry Turner II

Director Of Purchaisng & Facilities at Burlington Electric Department

Jeffry Turner II has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1986, they started their career with an apprenticeship at Dave's Automotive. Jeffry then worked as a shipper/receiver/purchasing assistant at Shellcraft Industries in 1987. In 1990, they had a summer job as a truck driver/sanitation engineer for the State of Vermont. Jeffry also worked as a materials manager at Burlington Drywall Inc in 1990 and as a purchasing/shipping manager at Conant Custom Brass Inc from 1992 to 1994.

In 1994, Jeffry joined Burlington Electric Department as the Director of Purchasing & Facilities, where they were responsible for daily procurement, inventory management, and overseeing the stockroom. Jeffry also worked as a yard worker at the same company, handling wood truck operations and maintaining the wood handling system.

In 2007, Jeffry joined the Winooski Police Department as a code enforcement officer, performing various enforcement duties and patrol tasks. Jeffry completed Phase 1 at the Vermont Police Academy for Part Time Officer. From 2010, they have been working at the Chittenden County Sheriff's Office as a corporal.

Jeffry Turner II attended Champlain College from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement. Additionally, they completed another program at Champlain College, earning an Associate in Science Degree in Law Enforcement from 1984 to 1986.
